Warm water, frequent use and unstable chemical solutions provide a perfect environment for viruses and bacteria. To ensure safe and healthy bathing, sanitizer residuals must be maintained, cartridges must be systematically cleaned and spa water must be drained on a regular basis. A spa can be a lot of work!
Allow West Coast Pool Service to assist. Clean and healthy spa's are our mandate. We will complete all maintenance related tasks during our weekly site visits, leaving minimal work for you. All that you will be asked, is that you keep spas free of foreign debris and inform the office of instances of excessive use (i.e. parties) or irregularities in the appearance or performance of the spa. High bather loads quickly consume sanitizer levels compromising the health of the bather.
Although maintenance programs differ between locations, the general tasks completed during our visits are:
- Vacuum the spa
- Check and balance chemicals
- Inspect cartridges
- Backwash filters (if applicable)
- Clean covers and accessories
- Inspect all equipment for correct operation
Note: West Coast Pool can drain and refill the spa and clean cartridges for an additional charge.
